Conference proceedings will be held in the Catalyst, located on the second floor of the Rogers Communication Centre, 80 Gould St.
Accomodations/Accessibility
Accessible Entrances: Ramp access can be found at the North and South Main Entrance off of Church St. Elevator access to the 2nd floor is located in the east and west wings of the building.
COVID-19: In accordance with TMU’s Covid-19 policy, face masks will be encouraged but not required. We acknowledge that everyone has different levels of comfortability with in-person events and we will do our best to provide a safe environment for everyone in attendance. If you have specific concerns about COVID-19 or general health/safety at the conference, please email us at iscs.conference@gmail.com.
Food: A light breakfast and lunch will be provided. Allergies and dietary restrictions/preferences can be indicated in the registration form.
Getting to Toronto Metropolitan University
Parking at TMU: Parking in downtown Toronto can be quite expensive, and we recommend taking public transit if possible. Information on public parking near TMU’s campus can be found here.
From Toronto’s Pearson Airport: The UP Express will take you from Pearson Airport (terminal 1) to Union Station in 25 minutes ($12.35).
TTC: Take line 1 to Dundas station ($3.25). Fare information for the TTC can be found here.
From the coach bus terminal: Toronto’s coach bus terminal is located at 610 Bay St. To get to TMU’s campus, walk south on Bay St. towards Dundas St. West. Head east on Dundas St. to Yonge St., turn left on Yonge St. then right on Gould St. (approx. 10 minutes).
From Dundas station: Walk west on Dundas St. East towards Yonge St., turn right on Yonge, then turn right onto Gould St. (approx. 6 minutes).
